Meeting Overview
The meeting will include plenary presentations describing the current state of diabetes technology, as well as three half-day workshops.
These workshops will consist of didactic lectures, case studies, and hands-on training focused on the most widely used diabetes technologies: blood glucose monitoring, continuous glucose monitoring, and use of insulin pumps and pens.
Each workshop will include four sessions on specific technology and cover the following:
- Clinical need for the technology
- Underlying science for the technology
- Applications of the technology (with case studies)
- Hands-on demonstration of the technology using real products
